Baby Food & Allergy Tracker

Free printable

First foods checklist

104 first foods grouped the way you actually shop, plus a grid for the nine major allergens. Print it, stick it on the fridge, tick things off. No email address, no sign-up.

This is a record-keeping sheet, not a feeding plan. It says nothing about what your baby should eat, in what order, or at what age — those are questions for your pediatrician. All it does is give you somewhere to write down what you have already offered.

The nine major allergens

These nine are the ones defined in US labelling law. The foods listed under each are simply where a baby is most likely to meet them.

Every food, by group

Tick a box the first time you offer something. If you want to record how it went and how many times you have repeated it, that is what the app is for.

Paper falls apart. That is why the app exists.

A checklist tells you what you have offered once. It cannot tell you that you last did egg six weeks ago, or that the rash happened both times you tried strawberries. Baby Food & Allergy Tracker keeps a dated record of every try, with the reaction and a note, for each baby.

If your baby has a serious reaction — trouble breathing, swelling of the face or lips, sudden widespread hives, floppiness or repeated vomiting — get medical help immediately. Do not wait to write anything down.
